RELĒS is a highly cleanable, stain resistant, abrasion resistant and chemical resistant low sheen clear performance coating that is applied over interior and exterior paints to provide robust performance in high traffic areas on walls for health care, hospitality, education and retail. RELĒS easily releases stains and dirt with mild biodegradable cleaners, yet is robust enough to handle stronger commercial cleaners and solvents such as acetone and MEK for graffiti. Laboratory tests have shown that iodine, mustard, red wine and permanent markers can be easily removed. RELĒS is low sheen, so walls and doors can sustain the traditional architectural finish appearance, yet be highly cleanable in high traffic areas.
Application of the RELĒS Clean Technology Coating System
RELĒS is a two coat system consisting of a clear penetrating sealer that is applied over interior and exterior coated surfaces by roller, brush or spray application. Following 24 hours of cure, RELĒS Clear Finish Coat is applied over the RELĒS Sealer by roller, brush or spray application. Once fully cured, RELĒS provides an easily cleaned, abrasion resistant surface for high traffic areas, while maintaining an architecturally acceptable standard of sheen and appearance.
Uses for RELĒS Clean Technology Coating
RELĒS creates a highly cleanable and abrasion resistant surface for walls, doors, fixtures and furnishings that are subject to high traffic use. The two-coat, low-sheen clear coat system protects the existing finishes with an abrasion resistant, stain resistant and graffiti resistant system that sustains the existing finish color and appearance on interior and exterior substrates.
Health Care: High traffic areas including walls, doors, workplace areas, break rooms, examination room walls, mechanical rooms and patient rooms, restroom walls, walls in exterior smoking areas, fixtures in exterior smoking areas
